Lost mode locks the screen and shows a message with a contact number.Have your carrier block the SIM.While the SIM lives, it receives your SMS authentication codes. That is the real emergency.Sign that phone out of your main accounts.From a computer: mailbox, social networks, bank, under “connected devices”.

Report the theft and have the IMEI blocked.The IMEI identifies the handset itself. Blocked, it becomes useless on every French network.Change the passwords of accounts open on the device.In order: mailbox, bank, main social network.Wipe it remotely if you have not recovered it by tonight.The wipe is final, but your backup gives everything back. That is what backups are for.
